Hope Lutheran Vacation Bible School (VBS) – Summer 2026
Theme: “Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God”

🎒 Ages: 4–11 (participants) | 12+ (junior volunteers)
💲 Cost: $20 per participant (sibling discount, $10 each additional sibling)

✨ What is VBS at Hope?
Hope Lutheran Church’s Vacation Bible School (VBS) Summer Camp is a six-day celebration of faith, friendship, and fun!
Our camp runs Monday to Friday, July 6–10, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM with supervised lunch and optional afternoon programming. The week wraps up with a special family day on Sunday, July 13, including VBS activities and a 10:00 AM church service featuring our campers.
Campers can:
Join just the morning VBS (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
Or stay for the full day (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) with one of our exciting afternoon camps!
🕊 Morning VBS Details
“Rainforest Falls” explores the nature of God, and the characteristics of him as our loving Creator who knows us and loves us forever. Students will dive into God’s word through songs, games, bible adventures, and activities to deepen their understanding and relationship with our God!
- For ages 4–11 | Cost: $20
- Times: 8:30-12:30, snack provided
- Junior leaders (ages 12+) attend free and can earn service hours and receive a reference letter
- Families with a parent, grandparent, or teen sibling volunteering during morning VBS get a discount on camp fees

🎨 ARTS Afternoon Camp: Baking Bread, Growing Faith with Ms. Rebekah
Breads from around the world all have 1 thing in common – they require us to wait. In this summer camp, through hands-on learning and making various breads, we reflect on our wait for God’s promises in our lives. Projects may include quick bread, brioche buns, wiener buns, Naan and Roti, and many more! Learning to be patient in the process, and seeing the goodness that comes from waiting with anticipation is all part of a beautiful journey in life and in making bread!

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM, Ages 5-12
Pricing: $200 ($15 off each additional sibling)
🏕 SPORTS Afternoon Camp: High Flyers Club with Mr. Mayer
The High Flyers Club is a high-energy summer camp where kids build, test, and improve their own paper airplanes while developing real fitness, focus, and perseverance. Each day combines active games, movement challenges, and hands-on design as kids learn what it means to try, fail, and improve. Through friendly competitions and team challenges, students grow in confidence, resilience, and problem-solving. This camp is perfect for kids ages 5–12 who love to move, create, and take on new challenges!

Pricing: $200 per child ($25 off each additional sibling)
