Pastor Lucas graduated from Concordia Seminary, Sao Leopoldo Brazil in 1998, and was ordained in 1999 in Curitiba, Brazil. He served “Peace” Lutheran Church, in Campo Bom, Brazil from 1999-2004. He was called to The Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra) in 2004, where he served in different positions. In 2016 he accepted a Call to move to Canada, serving as Associate Pastor at Mount Olive in Regina SK. On August, 2023 he accepted the Call to Hope Lutheran.
Pastor Lucas holds a Social Communications Bachelors degree(Ulbra) and obtained his Masters (STM) from Concordia Seminary, Sao Leopoldo. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry Student at the Concordia Seminary St. Louis USA. Married to Djenane Hans, they have two children, Charles and Rachel Sophie. His enjoys preaching, teaching, leadership, multimedia and music. He enjoys also time with family, reading, playing sports, and cooking.
