What?:   The ABC District Youth Gathering is an event hosted by the ABC District every three years that is focused on building up and encouraging young people and youth leaders in our church. The days are filled with amazing speakers, worship, options time (anything from drama, art, sports, choir and much more) as well as plenty of free time to just hang out and meet youth from all over Alberta and British Columbia.

Who?:   Youth ages 13-18.

When?:   The gathering is taking place from Thursday, July 2^nd (3:30pm) to Sunday, July 5^th (1:30pm)

Where?:   Trinity Western University in Langley, BC. We will be staying in the University dorms and all meals are included in the registration.

How?:   Trinity Western is about a half hour drive from Hope Lutheran. Closer to the date and when I have a better idea of numbers I will be organizing carpooling to and from either the church or individuals’ houses.

Cost?:   The cost of the gathering is $300/person (before April 1^st) and $350/person after that (until May 7^th). and this includes registration, housing and meals. Transportation costs will be minimal as we will be organizing carpooling. Depending on how many youth are interested and how much we fundraise, we will also be able to offset some of the cost of registration (exactly how much will not be known until we have all of our registration forms in).
