Father Daughter Dance  

Greetings from the Father Daughter Dance Committee!

Please find the link below to sign up and reserve your tickets. Once you have reserved your tickets, please pick up and make payment at the Port Coquitlam Campus office with Mrs. Klassen.

Remember, tickets are not secured until they have been picked up and paid before January 10, 2020 deadline. After this date, you will lose your reservation. 

Please follow and read carefully: 

Parents must sign up with their FULL NAME. Please select the number of tickets required under QTY

For example: 

1 Father + 1 Daughter = 2 tickets under QTY

1 Father + 2 Daughters = 3 tickets under QTY

Cost: 

Pair of tickets = $20.00

additional tickets = $5 each

Dress Down Days for LEST $2

We have scheduled three Dress Down Days at both campuses as a way to fundraise for our upcoming trip to Portland. Please note the following:

  • Friday, January 17
  • Friday, February 7

Chess Club

PM Campus Chess Club will officially move from Thursday lunch to Tuesday after school until 4:15 pm every week until LEST. This will be a fairly advanced level of theory, exercises, and drills as we are honing our skills for competition play. All who know all the basic mechanics of chess are welcome. Sign up is limited to16 spots. Those with aspirations to be Hope representatives for LEST should sign up as some qualification matches will occur during club time.


PTL News


REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS:  Please remember to record your Parent Volunteer Hours as you complete them on your youngest child’s spreadsheet.  Term 1 ends on January 31st and after that date, the sheets will be closed. Please ensure you record any eligible hours prior to January 31st.

If you are short on hours, there are many opportunities, evenings included,  to help with the Bethlehem Walk production. Please refer to the links provided.  More opportunities will be posted shortly.


PTL General Meeting

A PTL meeting takes place this Friday, January 10th, 9 am at the PoCo Campus.  All parents are welcome to attend.


PTL Coffee Fellowship

Volunteer Opportunities – 2019/2020 School Year

The Well:  Our food services club, The Well, is in need of one parent a week to assist in the clean up each Friday after the meal service.  If you are able to spare an hour over the lunch period, they would greatly appreciate your assistance. Lunchtime Supervision:  We are looking for volunteers for lunchtime supervision at the Pitt Meadows Campus from 11:50 am – 12:45 pm each day.  Orientation will be provided by Ms. Nast. Open House, January 28th, 6:30-8:00: Would you like to be a Parent Ambassador at our upcoming open house?  We are looking for several parents who are interested in mingling and conversing with new families interested in joining our school community.

The Well

Friday, January 10th, The Well will serve Beef Burritos with salad for $ 5.00. Orders dues back on Wednesday, January 8th. 


Hope Junior Youth (Grades 5-8)

Junior Youth is a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church for all students in grades 5-8 to grow in friendships and faith! 

Junior Youth is BACK! Our next event is Saturday, January 11 from 6:30 – 8:30pm.

Yearbook Orders 

Once again, we are excited to partner with Jostens in developing a yearbook that will display special moments for all of us, including individual photos of our school family, as well as candid shots and amazing collages!

You may order your yearbook for $25. The deadline for ordering yearbooks is January 31, 2020.

  • complete the form in this link – YEARBOOK ORDER FORM, make the cheque out to Hope Lutheran School and return both to the school
  • on the cheque subject line, please write your child’s name, their class,  and “Yearbook 2019/20”

Yearbooks will be delivered in June before students leave for the summer holidays.  Any 2019/20 yearbooks are not picked up by June 30, 2021, will be used for school purposes.
