Reading Link

Reading Link is looking for parent volunteers who are interested in creating quiz style questions for our students to practice for their competition in the new year. The job requires reading a novel and creating questions that can be used during weekly meetings with students. Proficiency in the English language is required and volunteers can expect to earn 8-12 volunteer hours. This job can be done entirely at home. If interested, please contact Mrs. LeRoss at [email protected] for more information.

Priority orders will be delivered this week,  November 21-25.

Final orders will be delivered in the week of December 5-9.

Parent Prayer

You are invited and welcome to join other parents and our school administration to pray (even if you’ve never prayed before!). Please consider setting aside 30 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week to join us for Parent Prayer as we pray for our school, families, and community.

We meet outside at the Elementary Campus by the main entrance.

Every Monday from 8:45 – 9:15 am (except for holidays).

Submissions are open for the December and January newsletters.  Please share your inspiring stories, special achievements and newsworthy events to Lisa Klym at [email protected].

Christmas Giving

Our annual Christmas food drive starts today and runs for two weeks to December 2.  Christmas hampers will be created for some identified families within our community and the surplus of donations will be given to the Share Community Food Bank.

Donation boxes are available in each classroom as well as at each school office.  Please browse the list of requested items and see where you can fulfill a need.  Preferred general items are sugar-free cereal, pancake mix, granola bars, juice boxes, canned fruits and vegetables, dried beans and lentils and canned fish.  When you’re at the grocery store, please consider picking up a non-perishable item for donation.

The contribution to this initiative is voluntary; parent participation hours are not given for food donations.
