Swangard Reminders

Students who are attending the CESS track meet at Swangard, May 28, were given an information sheet last Friday with details about their events and other information about the day.  If your child is taking the bus, please be at the school at 7:15 am to give us time to get organized for a 7:30 am departure. If your child is not taking the bus, please ensure you have contacted their classroom teacher with your travel plans.

Track & Field Parent Volunteers Still Needed for Tomorrow

If your child is attending the Swangard meet, and you can help, please email Mrs. Olding with your availability. We will need help at the ball throw station (measuring and recording distances of throws), we will need help supervising in the stands, and we need to supervise the bathroom area for 1 hour during the event.  We truly appreciate your support in making this event a success for our students.

After School Violin Classes for Next Year

We are accepting applications for group violin classes being offered after school for the 2019-2020 school year. We are hoping to run three classes after school from 3:10 – 4:10 pm based on age and level of experience.

The Monday class will be geared for beginner students in Kindergarten and Grade 1.  There are 8 spots in this class.

The Tuesday class will be geared for students in Grade 2-3 who have been playing for at least 1 year. There are only 2 spots available in that class.

The Thursday class will be geared for students in grades 3-5 who have been playing at least 2 years or more. There are only 4 spots available in that class.

Students who are older but are starting at the beginning level may want to sign up for private lessons throughout the summer so they can catch up with the students who have recently started.

Contact Ms. Allen ([email protected]) for more information or a registration form.
