Triathlon Teams

The Triathlon is this Saturday!  If you are new to the triathlon, you should review the race information and maps sent out previously.  Please make sure you meet our group in the parking lot at 7:00 am to gear up. Make sure you get there early as parking will be very busy and the parking lot will be full at Hyde Creek Rec Center.  All parents present are expected to help students gear up. Once we are geared up, we will take a group photo and have a prayer. Individual students not part of a relay team have been sent additional information by email.  We could use a few more volunteers for helping, see link.

Wednesday, May 1- After School Pick up at Riverside Church

The entire Hope student community will be attending the Beauty and The Beast dress rehearsal on May 1.  Permission slips are being sent home today. Students will be bused to the location and parents will need to pick up their students at Riverside (2329 Fremont Connector, Port Coquitlam) at 3:00 pm. Parents will need to park and enter the building to collect their student(s). An email will be sent to our parent community to show the parking lot lay-out and the flow for pick up. Students enrolled with Schola Bohemia will be bused back to the school.

Used Book Sale

The Grade 2 classes will be hosting a used book sale in our school gym after school on Friday, May 17.  We will be raising money to support our chapel offerings in purchasing desks and chairs for needy students in Nicaragua.  You may help support this project in two ways. First please look through your books at home (ask friends and neighbours) and find any gently used books that are not needed anymore and bring them into either grade 2 class (rooms 202 and 203) by May 2.  Second, please come out and support our grade 2 students by stopping by and purchasing some books. The students will be busy until that date, sorting, pricing, and practicing how to collect and give change.

Staff Appreciation Lunch

Parents of Elementary & Middle School Students:

Our school-wide community will be hosting a Staff Appreciation Lunch for all staff on Friday, May 3 in the Port Coquitlam Campus gym.  Many volunteers are needed to either provide various food items or help to set up.

Please see the following signup link to participate: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4aa9a62daaf58-teacherstaff1

If you have any questions, please contact Lisa Klym at [email protected].

Thank you.
