Jesus Saves! Soccer Camp (FREE!<\/strong> 1:00pm \u2013 4:00pm)<\/h3>\n

Hope Lutheran Church is excited to offer a fabulous FREE afternoon soccer camp, combining soccer skills development with fun-filled learning about Jesus! Children will be grouped according to age-groups and will enjoy one hour of drills and skill-building led by trained coaches, one hour of songs, stories and snack-time (brought from home), and a final hour of scrimmages.<\/p>\n

  • Children ages 4-11 are welcome.<\/li>\n
  • Optional lunch (12:00pm \u2013 1:00pm) is available for just $4\/day!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Optional Morning Programs (9:00am \u2013 12:00pm) include:<\/h1>\n

    Sportball (Ages 4-8): $125<\/h3>\n

    Sportball\u2019s action-packed camps introduce children to eight different popular sports: hockey, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf and tennis. Coaches focus on the basic skills common to all sports, like balance, coordination, stamina and timing in a fun, supportive, non-competitive setting that emphasizes teamwork. Camps also include arts and crafts, snack time, stories, co-operative games and more!<\/p>\n

    Stop-Motion \/ Claymation Camp (Ages 7-11): $125<\/h3>\n

    Stop Motion is an excellent way to bring a picture ALIVE! Through pictures, we create scenes to tell a story. Using STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) exercises, we put still pictures to action! Students will start with flipbooks and spinning wheels to set several drawings to motion. This camp will also include the use of digital technologies and basic framing techniques to create our own movies! Ready, set, Create!<\/p>\n

    Critical Thinking Math Camp (Ages 4-11): $125<\/h3>\n

    WISE Math takes the student through a continuum of study areas covering basic skills, as well as advanced concepts and applications. Each level emphasizes critical thinking through reasoning skills such as sequencing, comparing, planning, hypothesizing, analyzing and critiquing — skills students can apply to everyday life. By completion of WISE Math, the student will have mastered basic arithmetic operations and mathematical thinking, while developing greater concentration, better study habits, and increased self-confidence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
