Families are required to read the camp registration policies before submitting a camper’s application. By submitting their camper’s application, families acknowledge they have read and agree to these policies. Any questions regarding our registration policies can be directed to the Camp Coordinator (solomonyu1@gmail.com).
Program Policy
Hope Summer Camps may modify, add, or delete activities from the program based on camper interests, facility space, weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Age groupings may also be modified to improve supervision ratios and/or to meet the required number of participants to run the program for a particular week. Participants will be grouped based on the proximity of age or ability.
In the case where a program is cancelled because of low enrollment, we will endeavour to give families as much notice as possible (notice by email), and fees will be refunded in full.
Discount Policy
Early bird discounts are available only when payment is submitted before the early bird deadline.
Transfer Policy
We will accommodate requests to transfer your child from their original registered week to a different week provided your request is made at least two weeks before the first day of the requested program’s start date. Transfers are only available if space is available in the requested week.
Refund Policy
Due to commitments already made for camp resources and staffing, no refunds can be made to families deciding to cancel attendance.
We will accommodate a request to transfer the registration to another participant and/or another week provide your request is made at least two weeks before the first day of the requested program’s start date. Transfers are only available if space is available in the requested week. If there is a difference in the fees (eg. 5 day week transferred to a 4 day week), there will be no refunds for the difference.
No partial refunds are made to participants who are unable to attend any portion of the camp due to illness or other reasons.
Refunds will only be made to those affected by camp cancellation due to insufficient enrolment.
Health Policy
For the health and safety of the affected child and other campers, any child who becomes sick during camp will stop all activities. Parents or emergency contacts will be notified to arrange for immediate pick up of the child. Children who are sick should remain at home. A child who is observed to be sick at the time of drop off will be asked to go home.
Dismissal Policy
Hope Summer Camps has put in place Standards of Behaviour that all campers are expected to follow. The Camp Coordinator and teachers reserve the right to dismiss a camper who, in their opinion, is a hazard to the safety or rights of others, or whose behaviour indicates they have rejected the expectations of the Camp, as set out in by the Standards of Behaviour.
