Used Uniform Sale

Parents are encouraged to buy/sell/trade K-12 uniform items May 23-25 after school, at both campuses. All families are responsible for selling/trading their own items.  Parents are responsible to set up/take down tables.

A second used uniform sale will take place in June, details to follow soon.

Alternatively, parents can join Hope Lutheran School’s used Uniform Facebook group at the link below:

Chapel, Panorama School and Class Photos

Wednesday, May 30, will be a whole school Chapel and our panorama school and class photo day, at the Port Coquitlam campus.  Pitt Meadows campus students are to arrive for school at 8:45 am at the Port Coquitlam campus. The whole school Chapel will take place at 9:00 am with the school photo and class photos to follow. Pitt Meadows campus students will then be transported back to the Pitt Meadows campus by bus for the remainder of the day. All students are required to wear their formal uniform (pants -not shorts for boys, sweaters, and black socks/tights for girls) to school that day. It’s a Chapel day so this is the requirement every Wednesday.

School Shuttle Bus Driver Needed

The school is accepting applications for a paid bus driver for next school year.
The bus is a 22 passenger vehicle taking students to and from the Port Coquitlam Campus and the Pitt Meadows Campus during regular school days as well as on Field Trip days.  A Class 4 drivers license, driver abstract and Criminal Record Check is required.  Please contact our school Principal at jlok@hopelcs.ca if you or someone you know of is interested.

CESS Track and Field

Grade 6/7 will be attending the Track Meet on May 29, 2018 at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. Students will be transported by bus from the POCO campus and will be picked up at the end of the day from the POCO campus. Students need to wear gym strip and bring a lunch and LOTS of water. Parents are welcome to come and watch their students compete. There is also a sign up genius for parent volunteer hours to supervise  sports events during the day.

Parent Prayer

This past school year, a parent from the Port Coquitlam campus has organized a once a month prayer time for parents/family members of Hope Lutheran Christian School:

Please join us for the final prayer time of the school year to pray monthly from 8:55 – 9:25 am for our children, our families, the Staff and Teachers at Hope and our Community of Port Coquitlam. We will share and learn from one another, be inspired by Bible readings on prayer and of course – pray together! Email Tina Goetz for more info: mylifeforhis@shaw.ca

Location: Please meet in the Narthex/Foyer of the Port Coquitlam Campus at 8:55 am on Monday, June 4
