Thank you! Faithlife Financial & Hope Lutheran Church

A special  picnic lunch and ball game were held after Sunday worship service on June 11.  Hope Lutheran Church’s congregation partnered with Faith Life Financial to raise over $2100 dollars for Hope Lutheran Christian School’s Resource Department. We thank God for their generous gifts and prayers that support the mission and vision of our school to equip children to impact the world for Christ’s glory.


Last Fundraiser for 2017 Grad Class

HELPING HANDS
For one month, from May 15th – June 15, the Grads will be available to lend a helping to those who may need some extra hands after school and on Saturdays. Jobs, like cutting grass, weeding gardens, babysitting or even baking. Please contact Ms. Gabeli, at jgabeli@hopelcs.ca, to book a student. Minimum $10/ per hour suggested donation.

K-12 Panorama Photos

10×13 Panorama photos of Hope Lutheran Christian School (K-12) are available for order from Mountain West Studios.  Order envelopes are available from the school office, at both campuses.  Orders can be paid by cheque or credit card, and are due by Friday, June 16.

A reminder that the Parent Satisfaction & Teacher Feedback surveys were sent out last week in an email.  Please complete the surveys by June 21.


Homework Check-up

As the term and year end approach please remind your son or daughter to keep up to date with homework, test preparation, and projects. Check class Edmodo pages or ask teachers if you have any questions. Homework support is available every day after school.

Grade 7 – 12 Awards Night & Dance Party

Monday, June 19 at 7:00 pm – All students are required to attend our awards night in which academic, athletic and service awards will be presented.  Parents, thank you for making this a priority in your family schedules, and to attend with your child.  After the awards, refreshments will be served for parents and the gym will be used for a student dance party.

Grade 7 & 12 final report cards will be available for pick at the Pitt Meadows campus from June 26 to June 30.


Homestay Program

For those interested in knowing more about becoming a potential homestay host family.  The school’s Homestay Guide and online application form are now available on our website located in the international student page.  Families that are considering this should download and read the Guide and submit an online application form.


Project Parent Volunteers

The Development Office is seeking parents interested in serving as year-round volunteers to be part of a small task force for the long-term planning and organizing of  community and school events for the next school year.  Work is varied; from planning and promoting to hands-on work.  No experience required, just need your enthusiasm to make it happen. Meeting times are flexible.  Volunteers in this group can claim the total required volunteer hours for the entire school term.  Please contact John, the development director jlok@hopelcs.ca for more information.


Cambridge Uniforms – Online Ordering

Hope Lutheran is happy to announce that online ordering is now available with our uniform supplier, Cambridge Uniforms.


New Pitt Meadows Campus Hoodie

Our new Hope Hoodie, that may be worn in class, is on display and is available for ordering. Cost is $55. Name is an extra $9. The hoodie will include a redesigned sports logo.
