Runs will take place Mondays and Wednesdays after school, as well as Tuesdays at lunch. This will also serve as a training run for the grade 4-7 students participating in the Cross Country Track Meet (October 25). Middle school students are invited to participate and can ask either their home room teacher or the office for a permission form.
About 15-20 volunteers are needed each day for the running of this event. If your child is participating, it is strongly encouraged that caregivers volunteer a minimum of three times throughout the duration of the season. Volunteers are needed to: set up, hand out wristbands, conduct warm-ups, be course spotters, stamp and/or tally laps, clean up, run concession. (Please note, Tuesday volunteers require a completed Criminal Record Check to be on file with the school office.)
Your time spent helping with the Km Club counts towards the Parent Volunteer Hours.
