Newsletter Club
Do you like story writing? Do you have an interest in journalism? Then Newsletter Club is the club for you!
Join us as we interview staff and students and craft articles that will be of interest to our school community for our monthly newsletter, The Hope Herald.

Student Drop Off at the Middle School Campus
A reminder to parents that when dropping off in the morning you may park on one of the side streets, park in the courtyard or drop off in front of the school in the middle of the courtyard. Do not stop in the middle of either driveway to drop off your child(ren) as this backs up the traffic entering the courtyard and will be an annoyance for other tenants in the complex.

Community Relations
Small Group Reading Plan
Both Men’s and Women’s small groups happen within our Hope Community utilizing an app-based Bible reading plan that can be read at any time each day. Each daily reading takes about 10 minutes and space is provided for reflection. Group members are connected through a chat feature and engage in meaningful conversation, getting to know each other and being supported through prayer.
Men of Hope – Ian Stewart is facilitating a reading plan just for you. Please contact Ian at ian.a.stewart@pm.me to be involved.
Ladies, If you would like to be a part of a community group, please email Lisa at lklym@hopelcs.ca to get connected.
The feedback on these groups has been very positive. Don’t delay. Get into CommUNITY!
The first reading plan entitled “Hope In God” began today, but it’s not too late to join. Join us as we discover our source of hope that is absolutely certain and trustworthy – God’s character and promises.
Hope Community Prayer Evening
As a church & school, we want to be a praying CommUNITY. We desire to lean on the Lord we love, constantly seeking His wisdom, guidance and encouragement.
Our first gathering of the new school year will take place on Tuesday, September 27th. Gatherings will be the 4th Tuesday of each month from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Please consider joining us as we engage in prayer for our church and school, our future plans and directions and the families in our community.
People of all languages are welcome; prayer does not need to be done in English. Whether you are comfortable praying in public or not, you are welcome. There is no signup; please, come as you are. Children are encouraged to attend.

Hope Lutheran Confirmation
Hope Lutheran Church is inviting all current Grade 7 and 8 students to participate in Confirmation! Confirmation is a period of instruction where students “confirm” what they know and believe about Jesus. At Hope, Confirmation is a series of retreats that leads students through the Christian faith. One year focuses on the Bible’s story, and the other year goes through 6 key topics of the Christian faith (like the Ten Commandments and the Lord’s Prayer). Our next retreat is in October, so if you (or your child) are interested in joining us, please send an email to Danielle at danielle.andriulaitis@hopelcs.ca
