PTL News

We have resumed our PTL Coffee Fellowships – an opportunity for parents from both campuses to get together socially as well as having our Principal and Elementary Vice-Principal on hand to answer any questions parents may have.  Coffee Fellowships will typically be the second Thursday of each month at 9:00 am, meeting at the Port Coquitlam campus outside under the covered area at the front entrance.

The next  PTL Coffee Fellowship will be on November 19

Parent Prayer

Parent Prayer is moving! Start your week in community with others. Please consider setting aside 30 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week to join us in prayer for our school. 

We will be meeting underneath the tents at the Port Coquitlam Campus by the main entrance. 

Every Monday from 9:00 – 9:30 am (except for holidays)

Starting NEXT Monday, October 19. We hope to see you there! Thanks!

The recycling program is up and running.  Additional recycling bags with labels or just labels are available at the office.

Community Relations

Submissions are open for the November newsletter.  Do you have a personal achievement or special event you’d like to have recognized? 

November 11th is Remembrance Day, an opportunity to pay respect to and honor our national heroes who have fought to keep our freedom.  Do you have a hero; someone special in your life who has made a profound difference; someone you honor and respect?  Write a tribute about them and we’ll feature it in our November edition.  Please email Lisa Klym with your submissions at lklym@hopelcs.ca. 

The Well – Middle School Concession

The Well is open on Wednesdays during lunch. Our team is ready and excited to serve their peers. Items sold are prepackaged and in an individual casing. All COVID 19 protocols will be observed. Looking forward to seeing you at The Well!

Coding Club

Interested in computers and how they work? Join us for Coding Class to find out! Possible topics include Making Websites, Game Development, Binary and Hexadecimal, Different computer languages, and much more. No experience necessary.
