Extreme Weather Closures

As we head into the winter weather season, please note the following important information regarding Hope Lutheran Christian School closures due to extreme/inclement weather:

  • The decision to close (full day or partial day/late start) the School due to extreme weather will be made by 7:00 am, on the day of the closure, so families can make alternate arrangements.
  • The announcement will be posted as quickly as possible on our Facebook page and our school website. Do not phone the school, as staff will not be available.
  • The decision will be made taking into consideration the safety of our families and staff, and the School’s ability to operate normally, and will be based on the best information available at the time.
  • Any extreme weather closures will automatically apply to both campuses, and Schola Bohemia – Before and After School Care.
  • Hope Lutheran’s extreme weather closures may not be the same as the local School Districts’ closures.

Winter weather can change quickly, therefore, when the School remains open, all decisions regarding travel to and from the School are the responsibility of each family.

Jogging Pants

Now that the weather is cooler, we do encourage students, on PE days, to wear Hope jogging pants instead of shorts. There is a backorder of HLCS jogging pants. Until Christmas, students can wear their own jogging pants on PE days. We will be outside most days, so would like our students to stay warm. Wearing a jacket is also needed outside.

The Card Project Information

Thank you everyone for your continued support in ordering from The Card Project. Below are the delivery dates.
