HLCS Athletics Policy
At Hope Lutheran Christian School we strive to uphold much of the core beliefs that are part of the Christian Elementary School Sports (C.E.S.S.) association. This document articulates some of these beliefs and how in our unique school context will run our sports and athletic programs.
Mt Seymour Family Ski Day
It is that time of year when we begin planning our Grade 2-8 Family Ski Day. Please find the school information form here. There is also a Mt. Seymour form that must be picked up from the office. Completed forms and cheques are due back in the office this Friday (November 29th). Please contact Mrs. Olding (lolding@hopelcs.ca) if you have any questions. * If you have a child in Kindergarten or Grade 1 who would like to attend, you must contact Mt. Seymour yourself to inquire about private lessons or have them ski with you for the day, as Seymour cannot accommodate these ages in the school ski program.
PTL News
Km Club: Km Fall Club award tokens have been distributed. Thank you to everyone who participated. We ran 8 days and had 5 rainout days. Due to a large number of rainout days experienced, the award level was reduced to 5 Km per token. Special recognition goes to Matthew Renwick, 5B for running the greatest distance at 47.5 Km. A very close second goes to Arjun Madanayake, 4B for running 44.5 Km. Great job everyone. I look forward to seeing you out on the field for our Spring club. -Lisa Klym

Your time and your baked goods count towards volunteer hours. To contribute items to the bake sale or to help facilitate the sale, please sign up at the following link: Bethlehem Walk Bake Sale
Bethlehem Walk Props: A number of props are necessary to enhance the various scenes presented in our Bethlehem Walk production. The requested items are listed in the following link. Please sign in the appropriate spot for the item you are able to lend to the production and please confirm its suitability with the teacher in charge before leaving at the school. All items must be clearly labeled to be returned. Props Needed – Bethlehem Walk
