The Well

The Well is our school once per week snack shop where students get to use their talents and serve the greater community. Profits made go towards missions and other projects around the middle school campus. There’s lots of excitement on Wednesdays! We’d like to offer a treat from time to time. If you’d like to donate baked goods at any time, we would gladly accept them. Please contact Minoli at medema@hopelcs.ca. You will receive one volunteer hour for your hard work. Thank you in advance.

Parent Prayer

You are invited and welcome to join other parents and our school administration to pray (even if you’ve never prayed before!). Please consider setting aside 30 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week to join us for Parent Prayer as we pray for our school, families, and community.

We meet outside at the Elementary Campus by the main entrance.

Every Monday from 8:45 – 9:15 am (except for holidays).

Parent’s NightOut – Grade 8 Fundraiser

Need an evening out without the kids? We’ve got you covered!

The grade 8’s are hosting a Parent’s Night Out to fundraise for their upcoming graduation and missions trip. This will be a fun evening of pizza, popcorn, games and a movie for your children while you have an evening to yourself.

When: November 25th, 5-9pm

Where: Elementary campus gym

Who: Ages 3 to 12 (able to use the toilet independently)

What: Labeled water bottle; blanket/pillow for movie

Cost: By donation (suggested $20.00 for 1st child and $15.00 per sibling)

Sign up for this event is required by November 20th.

In partnership with BC Mission Boat Society, Hope Lutheran School is fostering a relationship in Kyuquot, a remote Indigenous community on Vancouver Island.  Last year our grade 8 class visited Kyuquot for the first time and developed some very meaningful relationships with members of the community.  Not only did our students impact the community of Kyuquot, the trip allowed our students to grow in their character and faith as they served and gave of their time for others.  We would like to build upon that relationship and return to Kyuquot with our current grade 8 class and you can be a part of that!   Your support for the spring missions trip is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for supporting the grade 8’s!

Please refer to our Community Calendar for a list of events throughout the year.
