All Families – please join us on Sunday, May 15th for our community trail clean-up.

This is a fantastic opportunity to come out as a family and be hands-on and involved in community efforts. These are the kinds of volunteer experiences that post-secondary institutions are looking for in our students.

Meet at the Hyde Creek Hatchery, 3636 Coast Meridian Rd, Port Coquitlam at 2 pm.

Spots are still available.  Let us know that you’ll be there by signing up:  Trail Clean-up

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Middle School Open House Committeea parent committee is forming to plan for an open house to showcase our new campus space and involve the greater community in a celebration at the start of the next school year.  The open house date is set for September 24, 2022.

If you enjoy event planning and would like to lend your ideas and experience to this committee, please contact Lisa at lklym@hopelcs.ca.  We will start planning at the beginning of May.

Uniform Committee – there is a need for 4-6 parents to be involved in a Uniform Committee to serve for the coming school year.  Duties include reviewing the uniform policy and making any recommendations for changes and doing in-school checks on uniform adherence.  Please contact Lisa at lklym@hopelcs.ca if you wish to serve in this capacity next year.

A complete list of ongoing opportunities for parents to participate can be found here.  Opportunities have been added for the next school year.  Please browse the list and see if there is an area where you can serve.

Parent Prayer

You are invited and welcome to join other parents and our school administration to pray (even if you’ve never prayed before!). Please consider setting aside 30 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week to join us for Parent Prayer as we pray for our school, families, and community.

We will be meeting outside at the Elementary Campus by the main entrance.

Every Monday from 9:00 – 9:30 am (except for holidays).
