Zoom Parent Information Meeting Tuesday, May 19, 6:30 pm

In response to the Minister of Education’s announcement on Friday, May 15, we would like to invite our parent community to attend a Zoom Parent Information Meeting this evening, May 19, at 6:30 pm.  Please check your email for the Zoom Parent Meeting link that was sent out to all school families on Friday, May 15.  


Gr. 6-8 Zoom Knowledge Bowl

We now have a date for the Knowledge Bowl on Zoom to be held on 3:15 pm Monday May 25.  Participants must have a headphone on.  Spectators are allowed.  Please indicate in the signup if you are spectating only.  The Zoom meeting ID and password will be sent by email to people signed up only.  Please sign up at the link below.

Draw and Paint Along with Judy!

This week the Wednesday class (May 20) will go ahead as normal, but unfortunately, Judy has to cancel class this Friday (May 22). Judy may need to cancel class next Wednesday (May 27), as well, but we will keep you posted.  

Students of all ability levels are still welcome to Zoom in during their specified time. Only those who didn’t sign up for the first week need to visit the SignUp Genius to sign up their child. I will send an email again through the SignUp to let you know what materials the children will need this week. 

Gr. K-3   Wednesdays at 3:15 pm (for about 45 minutes)

Gr. 4-8   Fridays at 3:15 pm (for about an hour)

Pick Up Packages & Weekly Schedules

This week, paper copies, for those receiving one, will be ready to pick up this Friday, May 22, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.


Library Books Return

If there are any school library books in your home, we will have a bin on our bench by the Port Coquitlam Campus main front doors to collect the books during the hours of 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday.


Hope Lutheran Junior Youth (Grades 5-8)

Junior Youth is a ministry of Hope Lutheran Church for all students in grades 5-8 to grow in friendships and faith! 

Mrs. Mayer and the Jr Youth team are doing short,  online events in our time of physical distancing. Our weekly email includes full information for that week’s online event and our new Jr Youth Family Newsletter. This newsletter contains some jokes, reflections & activity ideas to do as a family – we hope it’s a blessing to you!

PTL Meeting

We are taking our weekly Parent Prayer time ONLINE! We want to stay connected with one another during these at home weeks, by meeting together for prayer, encouragement and support. We are in this together!

A number of our sports jerseys still remain unaccounted for.  Please, look around your homes and return any jerseys you may have.  Please return jerseys to the Port Coquitlam Campus a.s.a.p. Monday-Friday between 8:30 am – 3:00 pm. 

Km Club @ Home

KB is out in front followed by 3A!

Staying active not only has physical benefits, it’s also important for your mental health and immune function!  Good job to everyone participating in Km Club @ Home!  Keep up the great work!  Fantastic that some teachers are participating!

Submissions are open for the May newsletter.   Do you have a story, movie review or family activity you’d like to share?  How about a fun stay-at-home activity?  Has anyone camped out in their backyard?  If so, we’d like to hear from you.  Include photos!
