PTL News
Our Elementary Campus is having a fun sports day for our kids in grades K-5 but we need you to help!
An Elementary Sports Day will take place by cohort from Monday, June 7 to Wednesday, June 9. A dedicated group of parents is needed to help plan and carry out the activities as well as parents needed to help set up, sanitize at lunchtime and clean up. Mr. Mayer and Mrs. Watson are available to offer ideas and ensure COVID safety. Please let the PTL know you can help plan activities – hopelutheranptl@hopelcs.ca – and let’s end off this year strong!
Help is needed on each day for set up, sanitization and clean up: Sports Day Assistance

A PTL meeting was recently held and the minutes of that meeting are included here: PTL Minutes May 6-21

MUSICAL PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE
Parents – we need you!
Assistance is required during the recording sessions on May 10, 12, and 13. Each day, 10 am-6 pm, is divided into three shifts. Simple duties may include handing out props, sanitizing, being available to press a button for a spotlight, etc. Nothing elaborate, we just need people. Please sign up at this link for one or more shifts: Musical Production Assistance
25 for the 25th! HLCS BOOK DRIVE
Please support our libraries!
In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, a book drive is ongoing to directly benefit our school libraries at both campuses. Our goal: 25 books for each grade!
Have you had a birthday recently that you’d like to donate a book in honor of your birthday? We have a special sticker for that too! Wouldn’t it be cool if your donated book had a 25th-anniversary sticker and a birthday sticker attached to it?
Parents – here’s your chance to declutter and clean off your child’s bookshelf. We’re accepting gently used books as well.
Please view our “Wish List” with tabs based on grade level: HLCS Book Drive
If you wish to make a monetary donation instead to fund the purchase of books, donations can be dropped off at either campus office (please mark your donation “Book Drive”).

Do you have a testimonial about our school you’d like to share, perhaps a word of encouragement you’d like to express to the staff and/or our school community as we close out our 2021 school year?
Please send your stories and testimonials to Lisa Klym at lklym@hopelcs.ca.
