Anniversary Musical Actor Auditions!

We are calling all actors from grades 3-8 to come audition to be a part of our FANTABULOUS, WACKY, FUN, NOSTALGIC WHOLE-SCHOOL, musical event this April. Every class will be performing a musical number in this revue production; however, we will need a small troupe of actors to help tell the story in between these musical numbers.

Auditions will take place at the Port Coquitlam (Elementary) campus on Fridays, January 15, and January 29 from 3:05 – 4:30 pm. Use the SIGN-UP LINK below to book your slot. Auditions are open for Grade 3-8. Please wait outside the chapel, distanced and masked, while on the bench until you are called in to audition. You will need to prepare a one minute, memorized monologue and one minute of a song. Be prepared to sing along with the teachers at one point too! Please contact Mrs. MacLean at school or by her email (mmaclean@hopelcs.ca) if you would like some examples of monologues or songs to prepare.

** Safety Information: All rehearsals will take place in our gymnasium with actors distanced by cohort. We will be casting by cohort as part of our safety plan. Many grades will be a part of this play, but each cohort will be alone on stage or distanced from each other. Masks will be required during rehearsals.

We hope to see you all come out for this special anniversary musical revue!  Please sign-up here: HLCS Anniversary Musical Audition Sign Up.

Please choose the appropriate lesson day designated by your child’s grade.

Thank you to all the parents and the staff at Hope for your great support of the badminton program, and continue to allow the students to learn through purposeful-play.
