Extreme Weather Closures

Please note the following important information regarding Hope Lutheran Christian School closures due to extreme weather:

  1. The decision to close the School due to extreme weather will be made by 7:00 am, on the day of the closure, so families can make alternate arrangements.
  2. The announcement will be posted as quickly as possible on our Facebook page and our school website. Do not phone the school, as staff will not be available.
  3. The decision will be made taking into consideration the safety of our families and staff, and the School’s ability to operate normally, and will be based on the best information available at the time.
  4. Any extreme weather closures will automatically apply to both campuses, and Schola Bohemia – Before and After School Care.
  5. Hope Lutheran’s extreme weather closures may not be the same as the local School Districts’ closures.
  6. Winter weather can change quickly, therefore, when the School remains open, all decisions regarding travel to and from the School are the responsibility of each family.

Celebrating our Students at the L.E.S.T.

Our staff, students, and parents had much to be thankful for as we made the trip home from Portland late on Saturday night. God watched over us and ensured safe travels to Portland and back.

A number of our students were also recognized at the LEST event for their gifts and talents – it was an exciting closing ceremonies as awards were presented! Congratulations to all Hope students – you have much to be proud of! To God be all the glory!!!
