Screenagers is an award-winning film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games and academics. The film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world.

All Parents and any students 10 years and older are invited to attend.  Please indicate your attendance in the following link: Interest in Screenagers  Please be sure to submit this form by October 30th so we can adequately plan.

Upcoming PTL Event

The PTL is hosting a Mom’s Night Out on Friday, November 29 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm to gather together in fellowship and Christmas crafting, making an advent wreath with fresh greenery.

The Advent season is the four weeks prior to Christmas, celebrating the anticipation of Christ’s birth.  If your family does not currently celebrate Advent, it is a wonderful tradition to start. Complimentary Advent devotional booklets will be provided for you to use your wreath at home with your family.

Our wreath making will take place at Amsterdam Greenhouse at 19100 Old Dewdney Road in Pitt Meadows.  Cost is $30. A $10 deposit is due at the office to secure your spot and the balance is due on the evening.

Spaces are limited.  Please sign up at the following link:  Advent Wreath Making

Hot Chocolate and Cookie Fundraiser

We’re excited to let you know that the Grade 5 Celebration Committee has set a fundraiser, on behalf of the Grade 5 classes, for Friday, November 1, from 2:45 – 3:30 pm selling hot chocolate and a cookie for $2. Proceeds from this event will be 25% to BC Mission Boat charity and the remaining 75% of proceeds goes towards the Grade 5 Celebration in June 2020.

Some info about BC Mission Boat:

A group of people living on Vancouver Island, had a vision to build a boat in 1999 and travel to remote parts of the BC Coast to share the love of Jesus Christ with people living in remote communities. Between the years 2000 and 2010, they did this by taking teams in a boat to each community. Since that time the BC Mission Boat Society takes teams using various modes of transportation including car, water taxi and ferry to these communities. Various teams from all over Canada and the USA join us throughout the year to offer kid’s club, men’s and women’s bible studies, family games nights, elder breakfasts and spa nights for the people living in the communities we travel to. Our hope is to encourage believers in the communities and share the love of our Saviour to the people.
