Parent Annual Surveys 2017-2018

Every family at Hope is invited to complete the Parent Annual Survey which provides important feedback to us about our school and teachers.  Your participation in this survey is very important to us. Please visit the following link to access the surveys.

Lost and Found

Please check the lost and found for missing items as all unclaimed lost and found items will be donated after school closes on June 20.

School Supply Forms

An email with full details was sent out Friday, May 25 and we are pleased to let our school families know that orders can now be placed for the 2018/2019 pre-packaged school supplies.

This is an optional program for our families and information is available on the School’s website at the following link:

Panoramic School Photo Orders

At the end of May, Mountain West Studios, the company Hope Lutheran partners with for all of the school photos (individual & class) captured a panoramic image of the Hope Lutheran school community (staff & students).  Order envelopes are available at the school office for 10”x13” prints. A sample 10”x13” is displayed on the school bulletin board in the foyer for your convenience.

Prints ordered will arrive at the school office during the summer break or for an additional fee can be shipped directly to your home.

Panoramic prints of the Pitt Meadows campus are also available for order.  The sample print is on display at the Pitt Meadows campus.

School Shuttle Bus Driver Needed

The school is accepting applications for a paid bus driver for next school year.

The bus is a 22 passenger vehicle taking students to and from the Port Coquitlam Campus and the Pitt Meadows Campus during regular school days as well as on Field Trip days.  A Class 4 drivers license, driver abstract and Criminal Record Check is required. Please contact our school Principal at jlok@hopelcs.ca if you or someone you know of is interested.

The order deadline for the 2017-2018 yearbook has now passed.  Orders are no longer accepted online or at the school office. If you are interested in a yearbook, but did not order one, please note that a very limited number of additional yearbooks will be sent with our school order and will be available on a first come, first serve basis, in September.

Crayola Colorcycle Program

To save markers from the landfill, Hope Lutheran School will be participating in the Crayola ColorCycle program this year. Crayola will recycle any brand of marker, including dry erase markers and highlighters.  The program is simple. Students collect dry markers and deposit them into a collection box in their classroom. At the end of the school year we will ship them off to Crayola to be recycled. The Crayola company will pay all shipping costs.

Litterless lunch initiative begins in September

In September, students will be encouraged to bring their lunch in reusable containers as all waste will be taken home for disposal. Teachers will bring more detailed information with them to your family’s home visit in August.
