Re-Enrolment 2021-2022

The re-enrolment process for the 2021/22 school year will begin at the end of this month.

On January 29, all school families with students currently in grades K – 7 will receive an email containing the link to the re-enrolment information package and forms. The information package will include the 2021/22 tuition rates. Re-enrolment will close on Friday, February 12.

Please note, annual re-enrolment fees and prepaid tuition deposits are due and required to be submitted with the re-enrolment forms, along with the selected option for 2021/22 tuition payment.

Collecting Cardboard Egg Cartons

Over the next couple of months the middle school students will be working with the BC Mission Boat Society to put together Easter Kits that will be sent to families in remote First Nations communities. One of the items in the kits will be Resurrection Eggs. For this project, we are in need of 300 cardboard egg cartons (12 capacity, with lid; NO plastic or styrofoam). Please start saving your egg cartons and send them with your child. They can be dropped off in the foyer just outside the office at either campus, in the labelled box. Watch for more information about this exciting missions project!

Extreme Weather Closures

With the forecast of snow this coming weekend, please note the following important information regarding Hope Lutheran Christian School closures due to extreme weather:

  1. The decision to close (full day or partial day/late start) the School due to extreme weather will be made by 7:00 am, on the day of the closure, so families can make alternate arrangements.
  2. The announcement will be posted as quickly as possible on our Facebook page and our school website. Do not phone the school, as staff will not be available.
  3. The decision will be made taking into consideration the safety of our families and staff, and the School’s ability to operate normally, and will be based on the best information available at the time.
  4. Any extreme weather closures will automatically apply to both campuses, and Schola Bohemia – Before and After School Care.
  5. Hope Lutheran’s extreme weather closures may not be the same as the local School Districts’ closures.
  6. Winter weather can change quickly, therefore, when the School remains open, all decisions regarding travel to and from the School are the responsibility of each family.
