Hope Community Event – Tuesday, April 11

You’ve likely heard of The Last Supper, perhaps you’ve even seen the famous Leonardo da Vinci painting depicting The Last Supper, or maybe your church has a rendition on their walls but do you really know what it means and why people all over the world partake in this meal?  What was it about the meal that Jesus ate with his disciples the night before he was crucified?  What does it mean for us today?  You are invited to experience all the elements of this special Jewish meal, to discover the symbolism behind each element and what it means for you.

As a post-Easter celebration and an educational opportunity to learn about the Hebrew roots of our Christian faith and our Jewish Messiah, you are invited to partake in a Christ-centered community Passover Seder lead by one of our school families, Pastor Adam & Edina Gabeli.

Date:  Tuesday, April 11

Time:  doors open 5:30 pm; event 6:00 – 9:00 pm

Location:  Westwood Community Church, 1294 Johnson Street, Coquitlam

Cost:  $25/adult; $15/child; 3rd child of same family free

Details:  Event is appropriate for ages 3+.  Meal consists of grilled chicken, potato, Greek salad, hummus, matzah bread and dessert.  Please note for allergies, walnuts are an essential ingredient to this meal.

The individual ticket price covers the cost only of this special meal; there is no fundraising component to this event.

Payment deadline is firm, by Tuesday, April 4th at 3:00 pm, payable at the Elementary Campus office.
